Unlike other necklaces, the Kettenmacherin uses blue quartz for the necklace. The necklace elements are disc-shaped. The delicate and straightforward appearance is in contrast to the round beaded beads of the magnetic clasp. This results in an interesting tension in the design. The Kettenmacherin avoids strong colors for this type of necklace. Instead, when choosing white beads for the beaded magnetic clasp she lets the beautiful blue of the quartz unfold its full. The necklace ist made by hand.
